A transfer programme: you start here (usually after HSC or A-levels) and, with good grades, move on to a university to finish a bachelor’s, with your credits counted. The receiving university sets the grades it needs.
Transfer requirements
To start: Year 12 completion with English, Maths (pre-calculus recommended), 2 sciences (chemistry and physics recommended) and 1 more academic subject.
To transfer: First 2 years of engineering at CBU (choose your discipline at the end of Year 1). Dalhousie says students from its associated universities who complete the 2 years go into Year 3 of its BEng. Apply to Dalhousie by 30 April.
English: IELTS 6.5 overall, no band below 6.0
From Bangladesh: Year 12 completion (HSC) with a 65% overall average plus English, maths and sciences; CBU publishes no Bangladesh-specific grade. CBU may give credit for courses taken elsewhere; send official transcripts. No external evaluator named. It is not confirmed that the transfer guarantee covers international students: Dalhousie says associated-university students who finish the 2 years go automatically into Year 3; its pages do not mention international students either way. International intake for Winter 2027 closes 15 October 2026. Nova Scotia PAL needed; 2026 national cap 309,670 applications (Nova Scotia 8,480).

Fees, intakes and entry requirements change often. Check the current application fee and requirements on the university’s programme page.
