| Apply after | After HSC · transfer route A transfer programme: you start here (usually after HSC or A-levels) and, with good grades, move on to a university to finish a bachelor’s, with your credits counted. The receiving university sets the grades it needs. |
| Transfer requirements | To start: Bangladesh HSC (arts, science or commerce) with about 65% across 6 subjects; equal to an Ontario diploma with Grade 12 English and Grade 11 maths. To transfer: 2-year diploma with 5 Ontario Tech courses built in. Keep a cumulative GPA of 3.5 every semester and get at least a C in each Ontario Tech course to move into Year 3 of the Ontario Tech Commerce or IT honours degree. Ontario Tech must also approve. English: IELTS 6.0, no band below 5.5 (TOEFL iBT 80, PTE 53, Duolingo 105) From Bangladesh: HSC (arts, science or commerce) with a 65% combined average in 6 courses, including English. Send post-secondary transcripts with your application; Durham does not publish how Bangladeshi university credits are assessed. Programme open to international students for January and September 2027. Ontario Tech must still approve the move to Year 3. Ontario PAL needed for the study permit (2026 cap). |
