| Apply after | After HSC · transfer route A transfer programme: you start here (usually after HSC or A-levels) and, with good grades, move on to a university to finish a bachelor’s, with your credits counted. The receiving university sets the grades it needs. |
| Transfer requirements | To start: Not direct entry: first earn 30 Langara credits with a 3.00 GPA in the set science, nutrition, maths and English courses. Also 6 months' food/nutrition experience and FoodSafe. To transfer: Built with UBC. Graduates are accepted to UBC's Faculty of Land and Food Systems and can apply for year 3 of the BSc in Food, Nutrition and Health, which has limited places. You must keep a 3.0 GPA. English: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) for Langara entry From Bangladesh: HSC and mark sheet; normally the equivalent of a 60% academic standard in the final year. Institution must be accredited by its national authority (e.g. UGC-recognised). Send official transcripts and term-specific outlines/syllabi; ask Langara Global how this affects a work permit. It is not confirmed that the transfer guarantee covers international students. This diploma is entered after 30 credits at a 3.00 GPA; international criteria are listed. Faculty acceptance at UBC, but whether international students qualify isn't stated. BC PAL needed. |
