A transfer programme: you start here (usually after HSC or A-levels) and, with good grades, move on to a university to finish a bachelor’s, with your credits counted. The receiving university sets the grades it needs.
Transfer requirements
To start: Secondary completion, 65% average, with English and Biology. Competitive (high 70s to high 80s). Not on MacEwan's 2027/28 international list, so check it is open to you.
To transfer: Built for the University of Alberta Bachelor of Kinesiology, with up to 60 credits. The U of A asks for at least a 2.5 GPA on your latest 24 credits, and the grade it actually admits at may be higher. The agreement can change.
English: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 5.5)
From Bangladesh: Ask an adviser to confirm this course is open to students from Bangladesh. MacEwan has a Bangladesh page: upload SSC and HSC (or mark sheet); if results can't be verified online, the Board sends them directly. Courses from outside Canada and the US need a transfer credit evaluation: upload term-specific course outlines in myStudentSystem; non-English documents need certified translations. MacEwan says international students can apply to any programme, but this transfer course was not on its 2027/28 international list when checked on 1 Oct. Confirm with MacEwan. Alberta PAL needed.

Fees, intakes and entry requirements change often. Check the current application fee and requirements on the university’s programme page.
