A transfer programme: you start here (usually after HSC or A-levels) and, with good grades, move on to a university to finish a bachelor’s, with your credits counted. The receiving university sets the grades it needs.
Transfer requirements
To start: Secondary school completion equal to an Ontario diploma (OSSD), including Grade 12 English.
To transfer: 2-year diploma. Liberal Arts: a 3.0 GPA puts you on the pathway to Queen's, Trent, U of T (St George, Scarborough) or York. Arts and Science: York usually wants a 3.0-3.3 GPA and gives up to 48 credits; partner universities make the final decision.
English: IELTS 6.0 overall, no band below 5.5
From Bangladesh: Seneca asks for 6 senior courses equal to Ontario university-prep level with a 65% average; no Bangladesh-specific page found. You can submit transcripts from university/college courses taken outside Canada; a WES credential assessment may be required for some programmes. International intake: January 2027 at Seneca@York (or online); September 2026 closed. University entry after the diploma is not guaranteed. Ontario PAL needed for the study permit (2026 cap).

Fees, intakes and entry requirements change often. Check the current application fee and requirements on the university’s programme page.
