A transfer programme: you start here (usually after HSC or A-levels) and, with good grades, move on to a university to finish a bachelor’s, with your credits counted. The receiving university sets the grades it needs.
Transfer requirements
To start: Grade 12 graduation, with English 12 at C+ or equivalent. The Science certificate also needs Pre-calculus 12 at B.
To transfer: The one-year certificate moves into BC universities under the BC Transfer System. VCC's assured admission to SFU Science is for domestic students only. International students apply competitively (SFU: 24+ credits, minimum 2.0 GPA, usually higher).
English: IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) / TOEFL iBT 82
From Bangladesh: HSC accepted (VCC lists 33% as the Bangladesh minimum), but you also need English 12 at C+ and, for Science, Pre-calculus 12 at B, or equivalents. Courses from outside Canada may need an ICES comprehensive evaluation, plus official transcripts and detailed course outlines from the term taken. Apply at least 3 weeks before the programme starts. The transfer guarantee does not cover international students. VCC's assured admission to SFU Science is for domestic students only; international students apply to SFU competitively. BC provincial attestation letter (PAL) needed.

Fees, intakes and entry requirements change often. Check the current application fee and requirements on the university’s programme page.
