Curriculum
What and how you’ll study
- The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) sets 10 levels shared by schools, VET and universities.
- Courses must be registered on CRICOS for student-visa holders.
- Academic years are split into two semesters (February–June and July–November), and many universities also run trimesters.

Higher education only
Luminous places school-age students in Canada and New Zealand only. Government and private schools registered on CRICOS accept international students. A parent or relative can come with a student under 18 on a Student Guardian visa (subclass 590). For Australia we can answer general questions, but we don’t handle school admissions here.
